In 2014, we conducted several experimental designs to explore how smart foldable displays could be when applied to a laptop environment and what benefits they could offer. We developed a two-stage foldable structure in two sizes and refined the details of various physical components. The larger model offers a screen size of nearly 30 inches when fully unfolded.
