E-Mart developed a system that automatically recognizes when a customer places the purchased product on the counter and completes the checkout process using camera recognition technology. To reduce uncertainty in the unmanned checkout process, they studied the checkout process and the movements of actual users using testers of various heights. After creating a sample, they conducted a pilot service for two months at the COEX Nobrand store.
