A seal is required for all adult Koreans. 
Signatures are used, but important official documents still require a seal. Another culture has a custom of giving a gold ring as a gift for a child's first birthday. These rings are usually sold and converted into cash several years later.

So I thought, what if I gave a seal instead of a gold ring for a child's first birthday? If a person really need the value of a gold ring, you can put a gold label on the back of the seal that has the same capacity as the gold ring.

Also, in the Far-East, 12 animals are designated in order according to the year the child was born, and we designed the seal with 12 animals as symbols. For reference, 2025 is the 'Year of the Blue Snake'.
