Great product design is more than aesthetic and function. Great design also allows users to feel empowered and accomplished. Together with Dong-Yang Magic, our goal was to develop new designs that do just that. One technique we chose to obtain our goal was to allow the user visual access to the often hidden inner-workings of the product. Through this the user gains understanding and ownership of the desired result; creating a powerful sense of accomplishment.
