‘D’ represents the disrupting nature of this low cost phone in targeted developing countries. The ‘D Plus’ phone design is the second generation in the ‘D’ series for Motorola. At just $30USD, this accessible phone appears to sacrifice none of the build and material quality that a more expensive product would include. We were able to achieve this cost reduction by using an e-ink display, lowering the number of expensive mechanical parts and applying CMF that communicates quality without the cost.
