Child injuries due to children falling from their beds or colliding with hard bed frames, are major issues for both infant children and parents. ‘Bowl’ was designed to help prevent these types of accidents as well as relieve parents from additional stress and worry.

‘Bowl’ is a mattress that prevents children from rolling outside the boundary of the mattress by using an elastic concave surface that cradles the child. The surface automatically transforms with the weight of the child, lowering into position. A convenient branded tag tucks neatly into the side of the mattress when not in use. This allows the comfortably curved form of the mattress to be uninterrupted, while maintaining the necessary functionality.
